At James St Cooking School, our professional chefs guide and inspire you to reach your culinary potential. We provide hands-on practical as well as demonstration classes. For private individuals, our schedule will give you all the details of what, where and when the classes will be held.
For private group or corporate classes you can book out our entire facility and we can design an event specifically for you.
We use the best produce and equipment and combine them with the skills of professional chefs who teach you the tricks of the trade, so you have a practical and enjoyable experience. After class, you sit down and dine on the fruits of your labour with lunch or dinner accompanied by matched wine.
Our purpose built kitchen is geared for both traditional demonstrations and hands-on practical classes.

For those of you who have been loyal to us for the past 10 years, we sincerely thank you. For those who are new to the cooking school we welcome you and look forward to inspiring you to reach your culinary potential for another 10 years!
We have a 10 year history of being Brisbane’s first hands on Cooking School, being involved with the Great South East, The Great Outdoors, Channel Ten News, The Courier Mail and many more. It’s time to celebrate!!!
A big thank you to all of you who supported us in the month of March for our 10th Birthday Special.
Although our actual birthday was in March, we will be celebrating all year long so keep an eye out on our website and special mail-outs for great offers throughout the rest of the year.
